How will the nuclear power accident in Japan impact on safety work at Swedish nuclear power plants?

Each year, the senior management of the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority, managing directors of nuclear power plants and owner representatives convene to discuss safety work.  This year’s meeting will focus on the nuclear power accident in Japan and lessons that Swedish facilities can learn from it. 

The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority will hold a press conference in connection with the upcoming meeting. Participants will include the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority's Director General, Ann-Louise Eksborg, and Lennart Carlsson, Director of the Nuclear Power Plant Safety Department.
