Every third year, the SSM reviews the SKB’s Research, Development and Demonstration programme (the RD&D programme). The RD&D programme gives a detailed account of development within the field of nuclear waste, as well as a description of SKB’s plans for work in coming years. The programme deals with both technical as well as social science aspects of the issue.
