Let us know if you have been injured
If you have been injured as a result of a cosmetic treatment involving non-ionising radiation, or if you wish to report a business that you suspect is running an unsafe operation in terms of radiation protection, you may submit this information to the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority.
All documents submitted to the Authority become official documents and may be disclosed upon request. In some cases, information may be protected by confidentiality provisions and will therefore not be disclosed. The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority never proactively informs businesses about the identity of the person who submitted a report.
You can submit information to us by emailing to registrator@ssm.se. Please include the following information when possible:
- The name and address of the cosmetic service provider
- The type of treatment involved
- The nature of the injury sustained (photographs are helpful)
- When the injury occurred
- Any deficiencies or possible safety concerns
- Any other information you believe may be relevant
