Radioisotope levels in Swedish air filters normal again
At the end of June, the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority reported that low levels of radioisotopes had been measured in Sweden. The authority informed the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of the measurements. More recent measurements have shown that levels are back to normal in Sweden. The authority has reported the final measurement results to the IAEA.

On 23 June, the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority reported that low levels of the radioisotopes caesium-134, caesium-137, cobalt-60 and ruthenium-103 had been measured in Sweden during calendar week 24. The levels measured pose no risk to human health or the environment.

Information about Brexit and export control
The United Kingdom left the European Union on 31 January 2020. Up until 31 December 2020, a transition period is in effect allowing commerce and trade to continue as usual.
