Nuclear facilities in operation in Sweden
At the present time, there are three nuclear power plants in operation in Sweden. These are the plants of Forsmark, Oskarshamn and Ringhals.
There are a number of other nuclear facilities in Sweden besides these three NPPs, for example a fuel fabrication plant operated by Westinghouse, located in Västerås; Studsvik, outside Nyköping, which manages low and intermediate level waste; and Clab, a central interim storage facility for spent nuclear fuel, located in Oskarshamn.
