Internationell strålskyddsskola lockar deltagare från över 20 länder
Under fem dagar i Stockholm får internationella strålskyddsexperter som är i början av sina karriärer utveckla sina kunskaper om strålskydd. Kursen varvar teori och praktik och ger en fördjupad kunskap och förståelse för hur det internationella systemet för strålskydd byggts upp och fungerar.

Forskningen på nukleära material och kärnavfall stärks med nya partnerskap inom EU
Två nya stora partnerskap för forskning inom områdena material för kärnenergi och hantering av kärnavfall har startat i höst. Strålsäkerhetsmyndigheten deltar aktivt i partnerskapen och bidrar även med forskningsmedel. Totalt pågår nu tre partnerskap som fördelar 70 miljoner euro från EU.

Bakgrund Inom säkerhetskritiska branscher används ofta ett instruktionsstyrt arbetssätt i hög utsträckning. Miljön i sig och de eventuella risker som kan finnas inom verksamheten man befinner sig i kan leda till att man vill föreskriva exakt hur och när arbete ska genomföras. Detta anses skapa bland annat trygghet, förutsägbarhet och stabilitet.
